The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has been made aware of the fact that fraudulent email messages are being sent to Blackboard instructors asking users to update their login information. The email currently appears to be coming from “Blackboard Utilities ” and has the subject line “Blackboard Utilities (ELMS)”. This is NOT a legitimate email message and you should NOT respond to it. Both OIT and Blackboard, Inc. would never ask a user to send their password to anyone.

If you receive this message, just ignore it and delete it.
