Courses will be supported on WebCT through Spring Term 2007. By the end of the term, OIT will have finished copying WebCT course files (files stored in MyFiles) to the ELMS Blackboard system (owners of WebCT courses have the option of asking OIT not to move a course or courses to the new system). Spring 2007 will be the last term in which students will be enrolled in courses hosted on the WebCT server.

WebCT user support will continue, via webct-help@umd.edu, through Spring 2007. Formal training will be limited to Teaching Assistant training to support faculty use of the course management and collaboration/communication tools. Teaching Assistants can register for these workshops, held the week prior to the start of the Fall 2006 and Spring 2007 semesters, at the Training@Maryland website: www.training.umd.edu
